Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is a 2016 science fiction action film written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. A direct sequel to lớn Resident Evil: Retribution, it is the sixth installment in the Resident Evil film series, which is based on the video game series of the same name. The film stars Milla Jovovich, Iain Glen, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Eoin Macken, Fraser James, Ruby Rose, Rola, and William Levy. In the film, Alice và her friends are betrayed by a clone of Albert Wesker, who gathers the entire forces of Umbrella into one final strike against the apocalypse survivors. A sixth and final film in the series, subtitled The Final Chapter, was announced to lớn be in development by Sony Pictures, which was filmed in 2D & was post-converted to stereoscopic 3D. Continuing from the previous film, Anderson expressed his desire for the final film to "come full circle", bringing back characters, themes & the environment of the Hive from the first film.
